Job Description
Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using the SAP BTP CAP framework.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and develop technical specifications.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for application integration.
- Create and manage cloudnative applications using Java or Node.js.
- Utilize best practices for data modeling and database management.
- Debug and optimize applications for maximum performance and efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data within applications.
- Ensure compliance with SAP s coding standards and guidelines.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends.
- Contribute to agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate project records.
- Monitor application performance and feedback for continuous improvement.
- Participate in training sessions for endusers and support staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 3 years of experience in software development specifically with SAP BTP.
- Strong expertise in the Cloud Application Programming (CAP) framework.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Node.js.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and services (AWS Azure GCP).
- Knowledge of database technologies (HANA SQL NoSQL).
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and communicate technical information clearly.
- Knowledge of SAPs overall ecosystem and business solutions.
- Experience in application security best practices.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices for application deployment.
- Continuous learner keeping abreast of new technologies and industry trends.
