Job Description
- Deliver tutoring sessions for K12 students aligned with US Curriculum standards in your subject area.
- English Tutors: Teach grammar vocabulary literature analysis essay writing and reading comprehension.
- Math Tutors: Provide instruction in core math concepts algebra geometry calculus and more.
- Science Tutors: Teach fundamental concepts in biology chemistry physics and general science topics.
- Tailor lessons to address individual student strengths weaknesses and learning styles.
- Conduct oneonone and small group sessions ensuring students comprehend the material.
- Prepare customized lesson plans assignments and resources to support learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress offering constructive feedback and strategies for improvement.
- Maintain an engaging supportive and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents guardians or supervisors to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
- Bachelor s degree in Education your subject area or a related field (required).
- Teaching certification or licensure is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience in the US K12 curriculum.
- Familiarity with US educational standards and guidelines.
- Strong communication skills with a neutral accent and clear articulation.
- Proficiency in virtual teaching tools and platforms (Zoom Google Meet etc.).
- Reliable internet connection computer and PenTab or similar device for online instruction.
- Must be able to work during US time zones.
- Familiarity with the Common Core standards and/or APlevel content in English Math or Science.
- Experience preparing students for standardized tests (e.g. SAT ACT).
- Strong organizational and problemsolving skills to create effective learning experiences.
