Overview
The Staff Nurse plays a critical role in the healthcare continuum at our medical facility in Rohini Delhi. This position is indispensable for ensuring the delivery of highquality patient care in a compassionate and effective manner. A Staff Nurse is responsible for managing the overall patient experience providing clinical care and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to promote optimal health outcomes. The individual will assess patient needs develop care plans and implement nursing interventions in alignment with best practices and protocols. This role requires an indepth understanding of nursing methodologies and a strong commitment to patient advocacy ensuring that patients receive the necessary education and support throughout their treatment journey. Working in a fastpaced environment the Staff Nurse must exhibit strong communication skills emotional resilience and adaptability. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and intake evaluations.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Provide educational support to patients and families regarding care protocols.
- Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
- Monitor vital signs lab results and other significant patient parameters.
- Perform wound care and dressings as required.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning discussions.
- Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff and nursing students.
- Manage and report medical equipment and supply needs.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development.
- Handle emergency situations and provide basic life support when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent diploma.
- Valid nursing license in India.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
- Exceptional knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ACLS certification preferred for emergency care units.
- Strong assessment diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate crossdepartmentally.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
