Dot Net Developer with Sitecore (W2 Contract)
Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain applications on the Sitecore platform.
- Implement Sitecore customizations based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure responsive and userfriendly interfaces.
- Integrate Sitecore with thirdparty services using APIs.
- Create and maintain SQL scripts for database management.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
- Manage version control systems and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Sitecore applications.
- Optimize Sitecore applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Document technical specifications and application workflows.
- Stay updated on Sitecore developments tools and best practices.
- Assist in training team members on Sitecore development techniques.
- Work within Agile methodologies participating in sprints and standup meetings.
- Ensure compliance with security guidelines and standards.
- Contribute to requirements gathering and functional specification documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3 years of experience in .NET development.
- Proven experience working with Sitecore CMS.
- Strong proficiency in C# and ASP.NET MVC.
- Experience with SQL Server and database design.
- Familiarity with HTML CSS and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of web development best practices.
- Knowledge of content management systems and digital marketing tools.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms as needed.
