Job Description

Remote Benefits Advisor
Location: Fully remote but must reside in NJ GA NY MS or PA.

Key Responsibilities


Client Interaction:
  • Clearly explain insurance policy benefits coverages and exclusions to clients.
  • Assist clients with claims processing provide timely updates and answer inquiries.
  • Share information on available insurance products and services to meet clients unique needs.
Policy Management:
  • Process new applications renewals and manage policy changes accurately.
  • Maintain and update client records ensuring compliance with company and industry regulations.
  • Organize and prepare necessary documentation for clients from policy details to renewal reminders.
Customer Service:
  • Address client inquiries complaints and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Guide clients in understanding their benefits resolving issues and coordinating appointments.
  • Ensure followup meetings with clients to foster longterm relationships and satisfaction.
Administrative Support:
  • Generate quotes distribute policy documents and manage essential records.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as data entry filing and documentation management.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally to support smooth customercentric operations.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills to connect with clients and simplify complex information.

  • Ability to navigate client challenges with empathy patience and a solutionfocused approach.
DetailOriented Focus:
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of policy management and documentation.
Technical Proficiency:
  • Comfortable using insurance software CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
ProblemSolving and Analytical Abilities:
  • Skilled in identifying clients needs and guiding them toward the best solutions.
Insurance Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and an eagerness to stay informed on policy and compliance updates.

Qualifications


  • Education: High school diploma required; a bachelors degree in business finance or a related field is a plus.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g. CIC Licensed Insurance Representative) preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in insurance customer service or related fields is beneficial.
