Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex surgical procedures for oncology patients.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Lead surgical teams and mentor junior surgeons and residents.
- Participate in clinical research and publish findings in medical journals.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in oncology and surgical techniques.
- Engage in continuous education and professional development activities.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options and recovery processes.
- Address complications and challenges during surgical procedures efficiently.
- Implement safety protocols to minimize risk during surgeries.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to administrative functions.
- Assist in the development of clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress postsurgery.
- Provide expert consultations on complex cases.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS from a recognized institution.
- MCH in Surgical Oncology or equivalent specialization.
- Minimum 810 years of clinical experience in oncology surgery.
- Proven track record in performing advanced oncological surgeries.
- Fellowship or additional qualifications in specialized surgical techniques preferred.
- Strong understanding of oncological care protocols and patient management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Proficient in robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
- Experience in clinical trials and research methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning.
- Active medical license valid in Delhi.
- Experience in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.
- Familiarity with health technology and electronic medical records systems.
