Our client is seeking to hire an Automotive Engineering Technician for a 6month contract
Position Description:
- Confirms control system functionality including appropriate safety compliance by designing and/or executing test procedures.
- Prepares and/or reviews electrical hydraulic and pneumatic controls drawings; collaborates with related engineering teams to evaluate components materials and suppliers.
- Ensures integrity of process and build data collection.
- Provides information to manufacturing process and other engineering disciplines by answering questions and requests.
- Keeps equipment operating by performing periodic audits; troubleshooting breakdowns; requesting supplies; defining and reviewing preventive maintenance plans; calling for repairs; and implementing process improvements.
- Maintains project documents using approved methodology tools and templates.
- Manages supplier development and delivery.
Skills Required:
- Troubleshooting pneumatic preventive maintenance planning hydraulic heat induction knowledge.
Experience Required
- Must have a minimum of five plus years experience with electrical controls within an automotive environment.
Education Required
- High school diploma bachelor s not needed.
Additional Information
- Steel toe FR uniform safety glasses ear plugs.
- Onsite 100%.
- Shift: 1st 6AM/7AM3PM/4PM 1st shift MF every other weekend.
MUST HAVE:
- High school diploma
- 5 years of experience with electrical controls within an automotive environment.
- Experience in troubleshooting pneumatic preventive maintenance planning hydraulic.
- Working knowledge of heat induction.
