Job Description
Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and implement LabVIEW applications for automated test systems.
- Conduct system integration testing to validate hardware and software components.
- Collaborate with engineers to identify system requirements and specifications.
- Maintain and improve existing LabVIEW code and applications.
- Perform troubleshooting and debugging of complex LabVIEW applications.
- Conduct performance analysis and optimization of existing systems.
- Create detailed documentation for software applications and testing procedures.
- Develop test plans and measurement systems in accordance with project specifications.
- Interface software applications with various hardware devices using appropriate drivers.
- Provide technical support to team members and other departments as needed.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Train and mentor junior developers on LabVIEW best practices.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems and standards.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables related to LabVIEW development.
- Continuously stay updated on emerging trends and technologies related to LabVIEW.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or related field.
- 58 years of experience in LabVIEW development and application.
- Strong understanding of data acquisition systems and test automation processes.
- Experience with National Instruments hardware and software tools.
- Proficiency in signal processing and analysis.
- Extensive experience in debugging and troubleshooting software applications.
- Familiarity with software version control systems.
- Ability to work with crossfunctional teams and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of embedded systems and C/C programming is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Experience in project management and delivering projects on time.
- Excellent documentation and technical writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Certification in LabVIEW or related areas is preferred.
