Job Description

Overview:

The Branch Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations of a branch ensuring its profitability and maintaining excellent customer service. They are responsible for leading and motivating a team driving sales controlling costs and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the branch team to meet sales and service goals
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and handle escalated customer issues
  • Oversee branch operations including inventory management and maintenance
  • Monitor and control branch expenses and ensure profitability
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Recruit train and develop branch staff
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with other branch managers and senior management
  • Prepare and analyze reports on branch performance and financials
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Resolve operational and customerrelated issues
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Represent the branch in the local community and build relationships

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or relevant field
  • Proven experience in branch management or related supervisory role
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and KPIs
  • Strong understanding of financial management and budgeting
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of banking or financial services industry (optional)
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence
  • Experience in customer relationship management
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed
  • Certification in Management or similar field (preferred)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
