Job Description
Job Title: Travel RN NICU
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to infants in the NICU including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
- Assess and evaluate newborns health status documenting any changes and responding appropriately.
- Collaborate with neonatologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate families about their newborns condition treatment options and care after discharge.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols in the NICU.
- Document all patient assessments interventions and outcomes accurately and promptly.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
Additional Information
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks.
