Job Description
Job Title: Travel RN Labor and Delivery (L&D)
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients throughout the labor and delivery process ensuring optimal care and safety.
- Provide support during labor including administering medications and managing pain relief options.
- Circulate and recover patients in the operating room for cesarean sections (c/s) as needed.
- Float to motherbaby couplet care to provide comprehensive care to mothers and their newborns.
- Collaborate with obstetricians midwives and other healthcare team members to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments interventions and outcomes.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing preferred.
- Required certifications:
- AWHONN
- Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
