Overview:
The Senior Medical Officer Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Unique Hospital in Delhi Dwarka plays a crucial role in providing advanced medical care to critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and comprehensive management. They are responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team to ensure topquality critical care in a challenging and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daytoday operations of the ICU department.
- Conduct patient rounds examinations and assessments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for ICU patients.
- Supervise and support the medical staff and interdisciplinary team members.
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and best practices.
- Lead and coordinate medical emergency responses within the ICU.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff and residents.
- Participate in continuous medical education and training activities.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety measures.
- Collaborate with other departments and specialties to optimize patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in research academic or administrative activities as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant location.
- Board certification in Critical Care Medicine or an accredited fellowship in ICU.
- Minimum 5 years of postqualification clinical experience in critical care.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in an ICU setting.
- Indepth knowledge of advanced critical care procedures and technologies.
