Overview:
The SAP EWM Consultant plays a crucial role in implementing and maintaining the SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) system. They are responsible for analyzing business processes designing solutions and implementing EWM functionality to optimize warehouse operations. This role is essential in ensuring seamless integration of EWM with existing SAP systems and providing ongoing support and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for EWM implementation
- Design and configure SAP EWM to meet specific business needs
- Integrate EWM with other SAP modules such as SAP ERP SAP S/4HANA and SAP TM
- Provide expertise in warehouse processes including inbound and outbound logistics storage and inventory management
- Support testing training and deployment activities for EWM solutions
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for end users and key stakeholders
- Perform system maintenance troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure successful EWM integration with existing systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse operations
- Stay updated with latest SAP EWM developments and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field
- 6 years of experience in SAP EWM implementation and support
- Demonstrated expertise in SAP EWM configuration and customization
- Strong understanding of warehouse management principles and processes
- Experience in integrating EWM with other SAP modules
- Proficiency in ABAP programming and SAP functional modules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Certification in SAP EWM is a plus
