Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in ABAP programming and SAP Workflow.
- Design develop and customize SAP applications and reports using ABAP programming language.
- Perform unit testing and debugging of SAP application programs to ensure functionality and performance.
- Integrate SAP systems with other modules and external applications as part of ongoing projects.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed ABAP programs and solutions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues within SAP applications providing effective and timely resolutions.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs to enhance system efficiency.
- Participate in SAP system upgrades and implementations ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to endusers and other team members on ABAPrelated matters.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment of SAP solutions with business objectives.
- Stay updated with the latest ABAP and SAP technologies and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the overall SAP system architecture and design discussions to meet organizational needs.
- Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes to maintain coding standards and best practices.
- Assist in training and knowledge transfer activities related to ABAP programming and SAP applications.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as an ABAP Consultant or Developer in SAP environments.
- Indepth knowledge of ABAP programming language and SAP development tools.
- Experience in SAP modules such as FI/CO MM SD and/or HR.
- Familiarity with SAP integration technologies and techniques.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming and SAP Workflow.
- Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting SAP applications and programs.
- Strong understanding of SAP database structures and data retrieval methods.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices.
- Certifications in SAP ABAP and related technologies are a plus.
- Understanding of SAP security and authorization concepts is desirable.
- Ability to adapt to changes and learn new technologies as needed.
