Job Description
Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients during the labor process and delivery.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs throughout labor.
- Administer medications and interventions as necessary to ensure maternal and fetal health.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about the labor process pain management options and postpartum care.
- Document patient assessments interventions and progress accurately in medical records.
Requirements:
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid state license.
- Required certifications: BLS ACLS NRP AWONN (Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring).
- 36 hours per week (GWW) commitment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing preferred.
