Overview
Key responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish deep tissue hot stone and aromatherapy massages
- Consult with clients to determine specific massage needs and concerns
- Provide personalized massage treatments based on individual client needs
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment including maintaining massage rooms and equipment
- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and recommend personalized treatment plans
- Adhere to all safety and sanitary guidelines
- Build and maintain client relationships through exceptional customer service and effective communication
- Document and maintain accurate client records
- Stay updated on current massage techniques and industry trends
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and satisfying client experience
Required qualifications
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist
- Completion of a certified massage therapy program
- Valid state license or certification as a Massage Therapist
- Proficient knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Ability to perform a wide range of massage techniques
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain a professional and clean work environment
- Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Ability to adapt to individual client needs and concerns
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Understanding of the importance of client confidentiality
- Positive and professional attitude
- Physical ability to perform massage techniques for extended periods
