Job Description
Overview
Key responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive fetal assessments using advanced ultrasound techniques
- Providing expert consultation on highrisk pregnancies and fetal anomalies
- Developing and implementing treatment plans for maternal and fetal conditions
- Collaborating with obstetricians neonatologists and other specialists to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes
- Performing invasive fetal procedures when necessary
- Participating in clinical research and contributing to medical publications
- Delivering lectures and training sessions for medical staff and students
- Ensuring compliance with medical protocols and safety standards
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions
- Providing support and guidance to expectant parents regarding fetal health matters
- Remaining updated with the latest developments in fetal medicine and obstetrics
- Contributing to the development and review of clinical guidelines and protocols
- Managing and overseeing fetal medicine units and facilities
- Attending conferences workshops and professional development activities
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment plans
Required qualifications
- Medical degree and specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Board certification or equivalent in Fetal Medicine
- Proven experience as a Fetal Medicine Specialist Consultant
- Proficiency in fetal ultrasound imaging and interpretation
- Expertise in diagnosing and managing fetal anomalies and highrisk pregnancies
- Indepth knowledge of prenatal diagnostic techniques and procedures
- Experience in invasive fetal procedures such as fetal blood sampling and fetal therapy
- Strong understanding of fetal development genetics and congenital anomalies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Publication record in peerreviewed journals and active involvement in clinical research
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
- Outstanding problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
- Adherence to ethical and professional standards in patient care
- Valid medical license and clear malpractice record
