Overview
The Pathologist MD Consultant plays a crucial role in providing expert medical guidance and consultancy in pathology services at Jewar UP location. Their responsibilities include diagnosis consultation and management of pathology services to ensure accurate and timely patient care.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expert diagnostic and consultative services in pathology.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
- Manage and oversee laboratory operations and quality control procedures.
- Utilize advanced technologies and techniques for accurate diagnosis and analysis.
- Review and interpret laboratory test results and provide comprehensive reports.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of pathology service protocols.
- Participate in research academic activities and continuing medical education.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to medical and laboratory staff.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
- Conduct postmortem examinations and autopsies as required.
- Contribute to the development and review of policies and procedures relating to pathology services.
- Attend conferences seminars and workshops to stay updated with advancements in pathology.
- Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare professionals regarding pathology findings and recommendations.
- Support strategic initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of pathology services.
Required qualifications
- MD in Pathology or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license to practice as a Pathologist in the location.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in diagnostic pathology and consultation.
- Demonstrated expertise in laboratory management and quality assurance.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and laboratory information systems.
- Proven track record in research and academic contributions in the field of pathology.
- Uptodate knowledge of pathology practices guidelines and advancements.
