Job Description
Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist radiologists in performing interventional radiology procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Prepare and maintain the interventional radiology suite including sterilization and setup of equipment.
- Operate imaging equipment including fluoroscopy and other radiographic modalities during procedures.
- Monitor patients vital signs and conditions throughout procedures responding promptly to any changes.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations related to radiation exposure.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and related patient information.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current California Radiologic Technologist License with Fluoroscopy certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology preferred.
- Strong knowledge of interventional radiology techniques and protocols.
- Excellent communication organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
