Overview
Key responsibilities
- Develop test and deploy web applications using PHP and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
- Optimize and maintain existing systems ensuring scalability performance and security.
- Create and maintain databases to support web applications and platforms.
- Participate in code reviews identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to enrich development strategies.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Provide support and training to internal teams and stakeholders on developed applications.
- Collaborate with designers to implement visually appealing designs and responsive interfaces.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a PHP Developer or similar role.
- Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML CSS JavaScript and AJAX.
- Proficiency in PHP MySQL and at least one PHP framework (e.g. Laravel CodeIgniter).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Solid understanding of MVC design patterns and objectoriented programming.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating highquality scalable solutions.
- Knowledge of web security best practices and experience implementing them in projects.
- Experience with thirdparty APIs and web services integration.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous integration workflows.
- Good understanding of user experience and responsive design principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
