Job Description
Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and analyses to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results by following established protocols and quality control procedures.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments troubleshooting issues as necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret laboratory results and provide recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of tests performed results obtained and quality control data.
- Adhere to safety and infection control policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with laboratory practices and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
- Current state licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) in California.
- Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures and techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
