Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient assessment and monitoring: Regularly assessing patients vital signs cardiac rhythms neurological status and overall condition identifying any changes that require immediate attention.
  • Medication administration: Accurately administering medications including IV fluids and specialized treatments based on physician orders.
  • Wound care and other treatments: Providing wound care dressing changes and other necessary treatments as per patient needs.
  • Operating medical equipment: Proficiently operating specialized medical equipment like ventilators cardiac monitors and infusion pumps.
  • Emergency response: Being prepared to rapidly respond to medical emergencies including cardiac arrests respiratory distress and sudden changes in patient condition.
  • Patient education: Educating patients and their families about their medical conditions medications and selfcare management strategies.
  • Communication and collaboration: Maintaining clear communication with physicians other healthcare providers and the nursing team regarding patient status and care plans.
  • Documentation: Accurately documenting all patient assessments interventions medications administered and progress notes in the electronic medical record.
  • Care planning: Developing individualized care plans based on patient needs including goals interventions and monitoring parameters.
  • Critical thinking and decisionmaking: Analyzing patient data identifying potential complications and making timely clinical decisions to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN Progressive Care Unit (PCU) certification in Arizona (dont leave home without it!).
  • Hospital experience is a plus but were happy to train enthusiastic RN PCU who love to learn.
  • Excellent communication skillsextra points if you can throw in a great dad joke!
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (but dont worry no capes required).

Pay: $60.00 $64.00 per hour (plus we promise itll come with good vibes!)
Expected hours: 36 per week (with coffee breaks snack breaks and well more breaks!)
