Job Title: Technical CoFounder
Location: Remote (Based in the USA)
Type: Fulltime Equitybased

Hitched is a web and mobilebased platform that streamlines the creation and booking of
honeymoon itineraries transforming a traditionally stressful process into a seamless enjoyable
experience. By leveraging Generative AI and strong vendor partnerships we aim to disrupt the
wedding and honeymoon travel industries and enhance the way couples celebrate their love
all from the convenience of their smartphones or desktops. Our mission is to provide couples
with a personalized stressfree honeymoon planning experience while bringing innovation and
convenience to one of life s most important moments.
As we continue to grow we re looking for a Technical CoFounder who can continue to lead the
charge in building the technology that will power our platform. This is an equitybased
opportunity to join a passionate and dynamic team as we disrupt the travel industry and
transform how couples plan their dream honeymoons.
Position Overview:
As the Technical CoFounder you will play a key role in shaping the technological foundation of
Hitched. Working closely with the CEO and the leadership team you will define the technology
strategy lead the architecture of our platform and guide the development of our AIdriven
solutions. This is an equitybased role where you will have the chance to make a direct impact
on the product the company s growth and the future of honeymoon planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Leadership & Strategy:
Define and execute the technology strategy for Hitched ensuring alignment with
business objectives and product goals.
Lead the architecture and development of our platform leveraging Generative AI
(e.g. Google Gemini GPT) to build a personalized seamless experience for
users.
Make strategic infrastructure decisions ensuring the platform is scalable secure
and resilient while offering an exceptional user experience.
Drive the endtoend technical delivery of the product including design
development testing and deployment.
Collaborate with the leadership team to set clear technical priorities KPIs and
goals balancing shortterm needs with longterm scalability.
Develop and implement disaster recovery plans IT security protocols and data
governance policies to ensure business continuity and user data protection.
Team & IT Management:
Build mentor and grow the technical team providing guidance and leadership in
all aspects of development and operational efficiency.
Allocate IT resources effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining
flexibility for future scaling.
Foster a culture of collaboration across product marketing and business teams
ensuring alignment between technology and business goals.
Manage relationships with external vendors and strategic technology partners to
integrate thirdparty services and enhance platform offerings.
Financial Oversight:
Develop and manage the annual and quarterly IT budgets ensuring the effective
allocation of resources to support both product development and operational
needs.
Balance immediate technical requirements with the company s longterm growth
strategy providing transparency and oversight to the leadership team.
Security Governance & Compliance:
Oversee data security management and governance practices to ensure
compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Implement IT risk management practices to safeguard sensitive user data and
ensure the security of transactions and personal information.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Create detailed strategic plans for the development deployment and evaluation
of technical web and mobile services.
Define timelines for major milestones ensuring timely execution of key product
features and technical enhancements.
Monitor and report on technical progress adjusting strategy and tactics as
necessary to meet evolving business and product needs.
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience with Generative AI: Expertise in developing and deploying Generative AI
technologies particularly with platforms like Google Gemini GPT and other cuttingedge
AI tools.
Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (Python TensorFlow
PyTorch) cloud infrastructure (AWS GCP or Azure) and web/mobile development
technologies.
Leadership Experience: Prior experience in a leadership role (Cofounder or CTO) in a
highgrowth startup environment with a track record of managing teams and driving
technical innovation.
Product & Infrastructure Strategy: Ability to define and implement a technology
strategy that supports product innovation and scalability with a focus on seamless user
experiences.
Budget & Resource Management: Experience managing technology budgets
prioritizing resources and ensuring costeffective use of IT investments.
Security & Compliance: Knowledge of data security privacy regulations and best
practices for handling sensitive user information especially in the context of ecommerce
and travel.
Crossfunctional Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to
collaborate across functions including product marketing and business teams ensuring
alignment between technical solutions and business goals.
