The Copywriter plays a pivotal role in shaping the voice of our brand and ensuring that our messaging resonates effectively with our target audience. Responsible for creating compelling content across various platforms the Copywriter contributes to both marketing and communications strategies by crafting narratives that engage inform and persuade. This role sits at the intersection of creativity and strategy requiring not only exceptional writing skills but also an understanding of brand positioning and audience demographics. A successful Copywriter will collaborate with marketing teams designers and stakeholders to produce highquality content that adheres to brand guidelines and meets project deadlines. Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director to develop datadriven content strategies that align with the companys goals target audience and brand voice.
- Conduct research to identify relevant topics keywords and content formats that resonate with the target audience.
- Develop editorial calendars and content plans that outline the creation and distribution of various content types (e.g. blog posts articles social media content videos).
Content Creation & Execution:
- Create highquality engaging and informative content that showcases the companys expertise products and services.
- Utilize storytelling techniques and a clear concise writing style to capture and maintain audience attention.
- Leverage technology tools and platforms (e.g. content management systems social media scheduling tools) to streamline content creation and distribution processes.
Content Optimization & Distribution:
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and organic traffic.
- Distribute content across various channels (e.g. website blog social media email newsletters) to maximize reach and engagement.
- Track and analyze content performance metrics (e.g. views clicks shares conversions) to identify trends and optimize future content strategies.
Audience Engagement & Community Building:
- Engage with the audience on social media and other platforms responding to comments questions and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Build and nurture online communities around the companys brand and products fostering a sense of loyalty and engagement.
- Monitor social media conversations and trends to identify opportunities for content creation and engagement.
Collaboration & CrossFunctional Support:
- Collaborate closely with other teams including marketing sales and product development to ensure alignment and support for content marketing initiatives.
- Provide content support for various marketing campaigns and initiatives creating content that reinforces key messages and drives desired outcomes.
- Share content insights and performance data with stakeholders to inform decisionmaking and improve overall marketing effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in English Journalism Marketing or related field
- Proven experience as a scriptwriter copywriter or content creator
- Demonstrated ability to craft compelling and persuasive content
- Proficiency in SEO optimization and understanding of keyword research
- Excellent writing editing and proofreading skills
- Strong creative thinking and storytelling abilities
