Overview
The IB DP Physics Teacher plays a pivotal role in fostering a deep understanding of physics among students in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at our institution located on Sarjapura Road Bangalore. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IB DP Physics curriculum aligned with the standards of the International Baccalaureate.
- Create engaging and interactive lesson plans to facilitate student understanding and mastery of complex physics concepts.
- Prepare and deliver highquality instructional materials utilizing various teaching methods and technologies.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaborative learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments providing constructive feedback to learners.
- Guide students through practical experiments and handson activities to apply theoretical knowledge.
- Attend and participate in faculty meetings professional development workshops and school events.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding academic progress.
- Encourage critical thinking and problemsolving skills through group discussions and realworld applications of physics.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and styles within the classroom.
- Contribute to the development of school policies that support academic growth and student welfare.
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with other faculty members to enhance integrated learning experiences.
- Provide mentorship and academic guidance to students pursuing higher education in sciencerelated fields.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Physics Education or a related field; a Master s degree is preferred.
- Teaching qualification particularly for the IB curriculum or equivalent certification.
- A minimum of two years of experience teaching physics at the high school level preferably in an IB setting.
- Strong understanding of the IB Diploma Programme framework and assessment methods.
- Demonstrated ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Proficient in using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students parents and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse faculty and student body.
