Class Action Attorney
Career Consulting Partners has partnered with an ambitious boutique firm in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles in front of the CBRE building. We seeka dynamic and motivated Employment Class Action Associate to join our team.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Will handle the daytoday management of approximately 50 75 employment cases under the supervision of one of our senior attorneys.
- Out of the 50 75 cases we expect approximately 1/3 of those cases to be settled with minimal work (I.E. very soon after filing the complaint)
- The caseload will consist of employment law matters primarily focusing on wage and hour class action.
- You will have professional staff to assist with your caseloadsuch as preparing legal filings and gathering client information for discovery responsesallowing you to focus solely on legal work
REQUIREMENTS:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- An active member of the California State Bar in good standing
- 1 5 years of experience practicing employment law with a focus on wage and hour class action
- Excellent research writing and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle a caseload independently and meet deadlines
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
- Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Salary: $120000 $170000
