We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Labrador City. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and oversight on a variety of projects related to structural engineering for our heavy industrial clients.
We are looking for someone interested by a flyin flyout schedule.
Our expertise is diversifying how about you
- Provide technical leadership and oversight on structural engineering projects.
- Manage and lead a team of engineers and designers.
- Perform structural analysis and design.
- Prepare and review project reports construction drawings specifications and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers architects and other design professionals to ensure successful project delivery.
- Attend project meetings and coordinate with client representatives and contractors as required during construction phase.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and provide recommendations for repairs or remediation.
- Review and provide technical guidance on structural engineering standards and codes.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance and support as needed.
Our essentials
- Bachelors degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
- 10 years of experience in structural engineering.
- 5 years of experience in Industrial Mining & Metal Oil and Gas Petrochemicals Power or Nuclear plants/facilities.
- Extensive knowledge of structural engineering principles codes and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and lead a team of engineers and designers.
- Strong problemsolving and critical thinking skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
