Your role! As Head of EV Experience Engineering you will:

• Define the Technical Strategy: Set a forwardlooking engineering vision and roadmap. Implement best practices adopt emerging technologies and ensure that solutions are secure scalable and fit for purpose.
• Lead the Team: Inspire and manage a global engineering organization including technical leads and software engineers across various specialties. Foster a highperforming agile environment that encourages continuous learning and improvement.
• Manage Delivery & Operations: Oversee all engineering activities from development to 24/7 operations ensuring costefficient highquality solutions. Handle incident management secure operational excellence and ensure budgets and financial targets are met.
• Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with the Head of EV Experience Product Management to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with product goals. Translate product visions into reliable marketready solutions.
• Drive Innovation: Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools methodologies and technologies. Stay ahead of industry trends to deliver cuttingedge solutions that delight customers and drive the electrification revolution forward.
• Own the Results: Take full responsibility for the engineering organizations financial performance including budgeting forecasting and cost control. Ensure that engineering initiatives align with strategic business objectives and deliver measurable value.

What Were Looking For

You are a strategic thinker a decisive problem solver and an inspiring leader who can balance innovation with operational rigor.

Experience:

• 10 years in software engineering or technology leadership with at least 5 years in a global context.
• A proven track record of delivering complex scalable and secure technology solutions at a global level.
• Experience with financial responsibility for engineering operations including budgeting and cost management.

Expertise:

• Deep understanding of modern software engineering practices agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
• Strong knowledge of security scalability and performance considerations in distributed systems.
• Ability to translate strategic goals into actionable engineering initiatives.

Leadership:

• Demonstrated success in building and leading diverse global engineering teams.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at the executive level.
• Resultsdriven mindset capable of optimizing resources while maintaining highquality standards.

Education:

• A degree in computer science engineering or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is a plus.

Way of working

At WirelessCar we believe in a Hybrid Remote work setup. While your team is based in Gothenburg regular onsite presence is essential to support the ongoing development of the organization. This role also involves international travel to visit customers and our global sites.
