Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Project Architect to lead projects from initial programming through construction administration. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional with strong project management and client communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in client relations project management and staff supervision with the ability to energize and motivate a team. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage architectural projects from concept through construction ensuring timely and highquality delivery.
- Lead client communication acting as the primary point of contact for project updates and decisions.
- Oversee and mentor junior staff providing guidance and fostering professional development.
- Supervise and collaborate with internal teams to ensure project goals timelines and budgets are met.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills including coordination with consultants contractors and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and approve architectural drawings specifications and documents.
- Travel to project sites as needed to oversee construction and ensure project quality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architecture with a focus on project management.
- Bachelors degree in Architecture (required).
- NYS Professional Architectural License.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
- Experience with NYSED projects is highly preferred.
- Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively.
- Commitment to professionalism and continued growth in the architectural field.
