Job Description

Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for an Mgr Nursing Services Solid Organ Transplant. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Phoenix AZ 85016

Assignment Start Date: 1/6/2025

26 weeks Days 8/10hour shift 40 hours guaranteed weekly

The Clinical Manager for Transplant Services is a provider who promotes familycentered care by subscribing to and supporting the hospitals mission and values. This position manages evaluates and supervises operational functions and activities of the transplant programs at the hospital by guiding and supporting staff. He/she also serves as a liaison with other departments to plan implement communicate evaluate and coordinate patient care operations across the enterprise facilitating quick resolution of issues to ensure excellence in a familycentered care environment. He/she also provides oversight and daytoday management of all clinical staff in the transplant programs as well as the PAs and NPs within the transplant programs.

Additionally the Clinical Manager for Transplant provides care to a caseload of patients within his/her scope of practice as outlined by applicable state law regulations institutional policies and practice agreements. He/she functions as an independent healthcare provider who working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team including transplant surgeons and physicians is responsible for providing comprehensive care to pediatric transplant patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Clinical Manager for Transplant Services provides care and educates patients and their families in transplantrelated care. He/she develops criteria for and participates in the evaluation of the quality and effectiveness of care. He/she plans and participates in learning opportunities for advanced practice nursing medical students other healthcare professionals and community members as it relates to the care of the transplant patient. He/she works with administrative nursing physician and ancillary staff to assure quality patient care and to promote education and research.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

  • Five (5) or more years of relevant clinical experience with pediatric or adult solid organ transplant.
  • Effective teambuilding skills and related systems experience.
  • Three years of experience in leadership and/or supervisory capacity.

Education:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree from an Accreditation Commission for Nursing (ACEN) and/or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited graduate school or nursing in Pediatric Acute Care Pediatric Primary Care or Family Medicine.

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

  • Current BLS certification for Health care Provider from the American Heart Association before start date
  • Current State of Arizona or a compact license with multistate privileges before the start date.
  • Arizona Advanced Practice License (NP or PA) preferred.
  • National Board Certification to match the area of education before the start date.

Shift: 8a5p MF. May allow to flex to 410s on weeks that travel is needed.

Vaccinations: COVID19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Flu vaccination will be required from October through April. Flu exemption applications must be received and approved before starting. Anyone not vaccinated for either Flu or COVID19 will be required to sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and must mask during the respiratory virus season.
