web developers job is to create maintain and improve websites and web applications:
Design: Create user interfaces and navigation menus and design the architecture of application components
Code: Write test and review code in programming languages like HTML XML or JavaScript
Test: Test web applications and new features in different browsers and environments
Troubleshoot: Identify and fix bugs and performance issues
Collaborate: Work with designers developers and stakeholders to gather requirements and meet project goals
Maintain: Monitor and maintain website functionality and develop procedures for ongoing revisions
Document: Document code so other developers can understand and contribute to it
Learn: Learn and test new technologies frameworks and languages
Research: Research and evaluate interactive media software products
Optimize: Optimize web pages for speed and scalability
Web developers can work for a company or agency or as a freelancer. They should have a strong understanding of web development principles and be able to use various coding languages and content management systems (CMS). They should also have strong organizational skills and be able to work well in a fastpaced environment.
