Job Description
- Check all the gears are in working order and in working condition before handing it over to the guests.
- Before going to dive check the current and make sure boat the boat is clean and parked correctly; conduct the boat and dive briefing onboarding.
- Recheck all the equipment once again before the guests are in the water.
- Guide the guest around dive center ensure guests safety at all times.
- Once the dive is done make sure all guests are onboard all equipments are correctly stored before coming back to the dive center.
- Assist the dive center check on the divers equipment oxygen tanks equipment maintenance storage etc on daily basis. Keep all things in order and make sure everything is on working condition.
- Keep Dive Center Manager updated with regards to number of stocks gear spares and other equipments needed for diving.
- Promote the dive center activities and water sport activities.
- Make sure you check the arrival inhouse guest list in opera emails and bills to check ensuring proper closing and posting.
- Make sure operation will be running under supervision and make sure Safety number one and help water sports in terms of excursions or other activities.
Qualifications :
- PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) or above including Enriched Air Instructor: To ensure the ability to teach a wide variety of PADI specialty courses.
- Aqualung Technician Certification: This should be a compulsory requirement.
- Dive Compressor Operation and General Maintenance: Proficiency in operating and maintaining dive compressors is a must.
- Minimum Two Years of Teaching Experience; previous working experience in a resort environment in the Maldives is preferred.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills enabling the candidate to assist with office and administrative tasks when needed.
- Sales and Customer Service Experience: Ability to promote courses dive packages and excursions to guests.
- Logistics and Inventory Management: Experience in managing dive schedules boat logistics and dive center inventory.
