Job Description
Role: Hardware Design Engineer
Exp: 27 Yrs
Working Location: Ahmedabad / Bangalore
Working Mode: 5 Days WFO
Job Summary:
We have a new position for a Hardware Design Engineer in our Bangalore and Ahmedabad R&D centre. Collaborating with local teams you will primarily be designing new product families from initial requirements through to production readiness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design plan document and develop new hardware products from initial requirements through prototypes to
production ready.
Maintain existing designs and develop new variants of existing products to add new features deal with component endoflife etc.
Work collaboratively and diligently with your fellow Hardware team members Product Management Software Engineering and Manufacturing to produce reliable standards compliant worldclass products.
Qualification Skill Set & Experience
Mandatory:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electronics Engineering or similar background from a recognized university.
Demonstrated ability in highspeed digital electronic design prototyping and debugging.
Familiarity with designs including differenent MCUs Wireless SoCs like LORA BLE WIFI GSM etc.
Familiarity with different sensors and their integrations with the embedded systems.
Previous use of Altium Designer KiCad or similar for schematic capture and layout tools.
Process oriented and a good verbal and written communicator.
Highly desirable:
Strong lowlevel software skills and the ability to do initial board bring up. Embedded Linux experience would be especially highly regarded.
Demonstrated experience in the full hardware product lifecycle including DFM EMC and safety approvals and handover to Production.
Experience with designs including wireless communications (Bluetooth 802.11 GSM LoRa etc)
