Overview
The Shift Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations and maintenance of equipment within the organization. Key responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and systems
- Oversee the operation of electrical systems
- Address and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise
- Coordinate with maintenance to optimize workflow
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure optimal functionality
- Train and mentor junior staff in technical skills and best practices
- Manage and document all maintenance and inspection activities
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Analyze equipment performance and propose improvements
- Participate in planning and scheduling of maintenance activities

Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or ITI or Diploma in Electrical
- Proven experience as a Shift Engineer or similar role
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and best practices
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure and in fastpaced environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detailoriented with strong organizational abilities
- Proficient in using technical tools and equipment
