Job Description
- Bachelor or Masters in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficient in the use of BIM software for MEP systems (Revit MEP AutoCAD MEP etc.) and familiar with general BIM software like Revit and AutoCAD.
- Indepth understanding of electrical and plumbing codes international modular codes specific to MEP systems and ISO 19650 principles for MEP data management.
- Understanding of modular construction principles and offsite fabrication processes.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of building codes international modular codes ISO 19650 principles and COBie.
- Electrical & Plumbing Design & BOQ
- Electrical & Plumbing 3D modeling RevitMep
- Revit Fabrication MEP
- Dynamo/ Grasshopper
- Electrical Wire harnessing
- Lean Construction Principles: Knowledge of lean principles can help optimize modular construction processes and minimize waste.
- Manufacturing Processes: Familiarity with common manufacturing techniques used in modular construction can aid in BIM modelling accuracy.
- Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Understanding QA/QC procedures for modular construction helps ensure components meet specifications.
- Digital Fabrication: Knowledge of digital fabrication tools and processes used in modular construction can be beneficial.
- Knowledge of logistics and sequencing for modular construction projects: Understanding the logistical considerations of transporting and assembling modules is essential for BIM modelling to reflect realworld constraints.
