Overview
The position of Intensivist Consultant at Lunavada Gujarat is a critical role within our healthcare organization. The Intensivist Consultant will be responsible for providing specialized care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU) ensuring delivery of highquality medical services and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Assessing and managing critically ill patients in the ICU
- Providing expertise in critical care medicine
- Developing and implementing patient care plans
- Supervising and coordinating patient care with healthcare teams
- Performing procedures such as intubation central line placement and ventilator management
- Participating in medical rounds and case conferences
- Utilizing evidencebased practices for clinical decisionmaking
- Responding to medical emergencies and codes
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
- Providing education and training to medical staff and students
- Collaborating with other specialists for comprehensive patient care
- Participating in research and academic activities
- Engaging in continuous professional development
- Communicating effectively with patients and their families
Required qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent)
- Board certification in Critical Care Medicine
- Valid state medical license
- Proven experience as an Intensivist or Critical Care Physician
- Demonstrated expertise in managing critically ill patients
- Proficiency in advanced critical care procedures
- Strong clinical judgment and decisionmaking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to patientcentered care and safety
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and quality standards
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic healthcare environment
- Publication record and participation in academic activities preferred

- Flexibility to work in rotating shifts and handle oncall duties
