Job Description
Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments.
- Diagnose various orthopedic conditions and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Perform both surgical and nonsurgical interventions to treat injuries and disorders.
- Utilize advanced imaging technology to guide diagnosis and treatment.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and nursing staff to ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients.
- Educate patients and their families about conditions treatments and rehabilitation.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthopedic surgery.
- Supervise and mentor junior surgeons and medical staff.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to clinical discussions.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Manage complications and address any postoperative concerns.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives within the orthopedic department.
- Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory compliance regarding patient care.
- Active participation in community outreach and health education seminars.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS from a recognized medical college.
- Master of Surgery (MS) in Orthopedics or equivalent.
- DNB (Diplomate of National Board) in Orthopedics.
- Active medical license to practice in Andhra Pradesh.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Proven experience in performing complex orthopedic surgeries.
- Strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a highpressure environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
- Knowledge of the latest orthopedic surgical techniques and technologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
