Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting physical examinations of pediatric patients
- Diagnosing and treating illnesses infections and injuries
- Monitoring growth and development of children
- Prescribing and administering appropriate treatments and medications
- Providing immunizations and vaccinations
- Advising parents on nutrition preventative healthcare and hygiene
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Participating in medical research and continuing education
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Responding to medical emergencies and providing urgent care
- Participating in community outreach and education programs
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Supporting and mentoring medical staff and students
- Communicating effectively with patients and their families
- Providing specialized care for pediatric patients with chronic conditions
Required Qualifications:
- MD in Pediatrics
- Diploma in Child Health (DCH) is desirable
- Valid medical license and board certification
- Proven experience as a Pediatrician
- Expertise in diagnosing and treating pediatric illnesses
- Strong understanding of child development and behavior
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Empathy and compassion for pediatric patients
- Uptodate knowledge of pediatric medical advancements
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to handle highpressure situations
- Commitment to providing highquality patientcentered care
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development
- Understanding of and adherence to medical ethics and legal regulations
