Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Examining and analyzing laboratory results and diagnostic tests.
- Providing accurate and timely diagnosis of diseases and conditions.
- Consulting with healthcare professionals to discuss test results and treatment plans.
- Conducting autopsies to determine causes of death.
- Interpreting and reporting findings from laboratory tests and procedures.
- Supervising and training laboratory staff and technicians.

- Contributing to the development and review of laboratory policies and protocols.

- Providing expert guidance and support in complex diagnostic cases.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and ethical standards in pathology practice.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD) in pathology.
- Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in pathology.
- DCP (Diploma in Clinical Pathology) or equivalent certification.
- Consultantlevel experience in a pathology setting.
- Expertise in diagnosing a wide range of diseases and conditions.
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Knowledge of laboratory operations and quality assurance processes.
- Research experience in pathology and related fields.
- Uptodate knowledge of advancements in pathology and diagnostic techniques.
- Attention to detail and precision in reporting and documentation.
- Adherence to ethical and professional standards in pathology practice.
- Licensure and certification as required by the relevant regulatory authorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
