Job Description

Overview

The SAP BPC Consultant plays a crucial role in implementing customizing and maintaining SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) solutions for clients. They are responsible for understanding business processes gathering requirements and leveraging their technical expertise to deliver effective financial planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements for financial planning budgeting forecasting and consolidations
  • Design configure and customize SAP BPC applications to meet client needs
  • Develop and implement data models business rules and calculations within the SAP BPC system
  • Provide expertise in SAP BPC functionality and offer recommendations for process improvements
  • Support ongoing maintenance and optimization of SAP BPC applications
  • Lead workshops training sessions and knowledge transfer to client teams
  • Assist in project management activities such as scope definition planning and risk management
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate SAP BPC with other systems and applications
  • Stay updated on SAP BPC best practices new features and industry trends
  • Participate in the presales process by providing technical expertise and contributing to proposal development

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration Finance or relevant field
  • Proven experience in SAP BPC implementation configuration and support
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning budgeting and consolidation processes
  • Proficiency in data modeling scripting and reporting tools within SAP BPC
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients stakeholders and team members
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience in leading workshops training sessions and delivering technical solutions
  • Relevant SAP certifications and continuous professional development in SAP BPC
  • Understanding of business processes and the ability to translate them into technical solutions
  • Knowledge of integration between SAP BPC and other SAP modules or thirdparty applications
  • Problemsolving skills and the ability to analyze complex requirements and provide innovative solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent documentation and presentation skills
  • Flexibility to travel to client locations as needed
  • Strong commitment to deliver highquality solutions and exceptional customer service
