Job Description
We are seeking a Construction Material Catalog Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to meet with construction material manufacturers collect detailed catalogs of materials and upload the material data into our software system. The ideal candidate should be proficient in communication mailing traveling and data entry. This role requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with construction material manufacturers to collect their material catalogs.
- Arrange and organize catalogs of various construction materials.
- Upload construction material details from catalogs into the company s software system.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of all uploaded materials.
- Travel to different locations to meet manufacturers and gather information.
- Communicate with manufacturers via email and phone to request additional information or resolve queries.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure all materials are uploaded in a timely and organized manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Experience in mailing work and professional email communication.
- Willingness to travel frequently to meet with manufacturers and collect material data.
- Familiarity with computers and ability to work with software for data entry and catalog management.
- Expertise in data entry with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the construction industry or dealing with construction materials.
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and their specifications is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel) or similar software tools.
Salary: No Bar for right candidates
