F&B Controller Job Description (Hospitality)
The F&B Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the food and beverage department. This includes budgeting forecasting cost control and financial reporting to ensure profitability and operational efficiency. The role collaborates with F&B management to optimize costs manage inventory and ensure compliance with financial policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Financial Management:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports including profit & loss statements and forecasts.
- Manage budgets track expenses and monitor revenue to ensure profitability.
2.Cost Control:
- Implement cost control measures for food beverage and labor costs.
- Oversee inventory monitor wastage and manage supplier relationships.
3.Pricing & Revenue Management:
- Assist in setting menu prices to meet financial objectives.
- Monitor sales trends and recommend adjustments to maximize revenue.
4.Compliance & Audits:
- Ensure adherence to financial policies health and safety regulations.
- Conduct audits to ensure accurate financial practices and inventory management.
5.Team Collaboration:
- Provide financial insights to F&B management for decisionmaking.
- Collaborate with other departments to meet financial goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Hospitality Management.
- Experience in F&B financial control or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting cost control and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
