Job Description
Overview:
The Data Annotation role is vital to our organization as it involves accurately labeling and tagging data to facilitate machine learning model training. Data annotation is crucial for improving the accuracy and efficiency of AI algorithms making this role instrumental in the development of AIbased products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Annotate data accurately and efficiently according to project requirements
- Ensure highquality and consistent data labeling
- Collaborate with team members to resolve annotation ambiguities or challenges
- Follow annotation guidelines and best practices
- Review and verify annotated data for correctness and completeness
- Identify and report data quality issues or inconsistencies
- Assist in creating and refining annotation guidelines and processes
- Work closely with data scientists and project managers to understand annotation needs
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver annotated data within deadlines
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and wellorganized data annotation environment
- Participate in training sessions on new annotation tools and techniques
- Provide feedback on annotation tool usability and suggest improvements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science or related field
- Proven experience in data annotation or similar data labeling tasks
- Familiarity with annotation tools and software such as Labelbox Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth
- Strong understanding of data labeling concepts and best practices
- Ability to work with large datasets efficiently and accurately
- Proficiency in data entry and manipulation using spreadsheet software
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
- Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills to handle complex annotation tasks
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow annotation guidelines and instructions
- Experience with image text and video annotation will be an advantage
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and terminology
- Capability to adapt to new annotation tools and technologies quickly
- Knowledge of data privacy and security measures when handling sensitive data
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple annotation tasks simultaneously
