Job Description
Spa Therapist
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing a variety of spa treatments including massages body scrubs and facials
- Assessing clients needs and tailoring treatments to meet their expectations
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the spa including treatment rooms and common areas
- Advising and promoting suitable spa products and aftercare to clients
- Upholding high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times
- Keeping accurate records of treatments and client preferences
- Participating in regular training and skill development sessions
- Assisting in spa reception tasks such as booking appointments and managing inquiries
- Collaborating with other spa staff to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for clients
- Following all health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid stateissued Spa Therapist or Massage Therapist license
- Proven experience in performing various spa treatments and therapies
- Excellent knowledge of different massage techniques and body treatments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Exceptional customer service and sales abilities
- Good physical health and stamina to perform massage and body treatments
- Knowledge of spa products and their benefits
- Understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards within a spa environment
