Job Description
Job Description: Linux Kernel Developer with Yocto Build
Experience: 8.5 to 11 years
Location: Chennai / Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
Develop debug and maintain Linux Kernel features and functionality for embedded systems.
Collaborate on Linuxbased product development focusing on platform device drivers and interaction with Processor Interface (PI) modules.
Integrate opensource kernel and security patches into target platforms identifying and fixing issues efficiently.
Manage Yocto builds packages and Software Bills of Materials (BOMs) for embedded systems.
Fix and address CVEs (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) in Linux Kernel modules ensuring system security.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality secure and reliable Linuxbased solutions.
Skills and Expertise:
Strong development and debugging experience with the Linux Kernel.
Proficiency in C programming with handson experience in Linuxbased products.
Indepth knowledge of platform device drivers and PI module interaction.
Expertise in integrating opensource patches and resolving system/kernel issues.
Handson experience with Yocto builds managing packages and Software BOMs.
Demonstrated ability to fix CVEs and improve security for Linux Kernel modules.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Master s degree in any field.
8.5 to 11 years of relevant experience in Linux Kernel development device drivers and Yocto build systems.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
