Overview:
The role of BAMS/BHMS RMO (Resident Medical Officer) is crucial within the healthcare organization as it involves providing primary medical care and overseeing patient treatment and wellbeing. This role also requires working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient consultations and physical examinations
- Diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries
- Providing appropriate primary care interventions
- Monitoring and administering medication
- Consulting and collaborating with other medical professionals
- Managing emergency medical cases
- Documenting patient medical records
- Participating in medical rounds and discussions
- Assisting in surgical procedures as required
- Ensuring compliance with medical protocols and standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) or Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)
- Valid Medical Council registration
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Good understanding of emergency medicine
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Sound knowledge of medical protocols and standards
- Ability to handle highpressure situations
- Attention to detail and excellent recordkeeping skills
- Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology
