Job Description
What will I be doing
- Development and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards as part of an established suite of Standard report packs.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to deliver changes aligned to the product roadmap.
- Maintain and develop the Power BI reporting suite within an agile framework ensuring all controls and governance are followed.
- Regression testing and impact analysis for all changes and creation for new test cases where applicable.
- Own deployment of reports and Update release notes technical and end user documentation as part of the delivery cycle.
- Provide guidance and support to other junior developers.
- Identify and propose solutions and new features to improve end user experience.
Qualifications
What do I need to bring with me
- 46 years of experience with Power BI (or similar reporting tool) specifically in the visual aspects of reports and dashboards.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy alongside the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Good working knowledge of DAX.
- Working experience of using source control tools (preferably GitLab).
- Working experience of DevOps and CI/CD principle (e.g. Azure DevOps Octopus Deploy GitLab)
- Knowledge of BI testing framework (e.g. NBi).
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Ideally some knowledge and experience in the domains of Finance/Accounting Sales/Marketing.
