Job Description
Overview:
As a Java Kotlin Developer with 5 years of experience you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of highquality software solutions. Your expertise in Java and Kotlin will be instrumental in driving the organizations technical innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain serverside logic using Java and Kotlin
- Design and implement scalable highperformance applications
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle focusing on coding and debugging
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Ensure code quality through continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and nonproduction environments
- Collaborate on best practices standards and methodologies
- Participate in Agile and Scrum processes
- Support and contribute to the improvement of development processes and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5 years of professional experience in Java and Kotlin development
- Extensive experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
- Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of objectoriented programming and design patterns
- Experience with database systems such as MySQL PostgreSQL or MongoDB
- Expertise in version control tools like Git
- Proven track record of delivering highquality software solutions
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus
- Certifications in Java and Kotlin are a plus
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools is a plus
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) is a plus
