Job Title: Beauty Therapist
Overview:
The Beauty Therapist plays a crucial role in providing highquality beauty and wellness treatments to clients helping them feel rejuvenated and confident. This position requires a blend of technical skills a passion for beauty and a strong customer service orientation. The therapist will be adept in various treatments including facials massages and body treatments while also possessing expert product knowledge to advise clients on aftercare and home routines. A successful Beauty Therapist maintains a hygienic and welcoming environment thereby enhancing the clients overall experience. Moreover they contribute to a positive atmosphere within the salon or spa fostering client loyalty and satisfaction. In a competitive industry the Beauty Therapist must stay updated with the latest beauty trends and techniques ensuring consistent service excellence that aligns with the organizations standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of beauty treatments including facials massages and waxing.
- Conduct thorough skin analyses to recommend appropriate treatments.
- Advise clients on skincare and posttreatment care.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in treatment rooms.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service.
- Keep abreast of the latest beauty trends and techniques.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of treatment areas.
- Promote and sell salon/spa products and services.
- Handle client appointments efficiently to maximize system use.
- Manage stock levels and inventory of beauty products.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Respond to client inquiries and feedback professionally.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a harmonious working environment.
- Document and maintain accurate client treatment records.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification from a recognized beauty therapy program.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of skincare products and treatments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends.
- Demonstrated sales aptitude in a retail or service environment.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of marketing strategies.
- Experience with client management software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Commitment to personal and professional growth.
- Customary certifications in CPR and First Aid (preferred).
- Passion for beauty and wellness industry.
