Job Description: SAP FICO Consultant
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules demonstrating expertise in implementing configuring and maintaining these systems. This role requires a blend of technical and analytical skills to support our financial operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
Implementation and Configuration: Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP FICO modules according to project requirements ensuring alignment with business processes.
Business Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of business processes within the finance domain identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
Requirements Gathering: Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to document functional specifications and develop necessary product modifications.
Testing and Support: Prepare and execute unit testing and user acceptance testing scripts; troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP FICO modules.
Training: Provide training and support to endusers ensuring they are wellequipped to utilize the SAP FICO functionalities effectively.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of design configuration and specifications; update all documentation as necessary.
Collaboration: Work closely with other SAP consultants to ensure proper integration of FICO with other SAP modules; participate in crossmodule support initiatives.
Project Management: Manage module scope and assist in the preparation conceptualization realization and golive phases of customer implementation projects.
User Support: Act as a point of contact for user queries related to SAP FICO; provide ongoing support during monthend close activities.
Required Skills
Technical Proficiency: Indepth knowledge of SAP FICO modules including configuration and testing; familiarity with S/4HANA is highly desirable.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities to address complex business requirements effectively.
Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to convey technical information clearly to nontechnical stakeholders.
Team Collaboration: Proven experience working in a teamoriented environment; ability to lead workshops and collaborate across departments.
Educational Background: Bachelor s or Master s degree
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant or in a similar role within the finance domain.
Experience with at least two fullcycle implementations of SAP FICO solutions.
Familiarity with financial accounting processes reporting standards and compliance regulations.
